This series is a long process but worth all of the hours put into it. Here I take macro photographs of ice on Lake Michigan. Depending on where you are on the lake, you can walk out for miles and look at the patterns the ice makes. I took photographs of these patterns then I printed them out in black and white. I then painted over the photograph with watercolors to make it look bright and colorful, nothing like the photograph I took on the lake. Then I scanned in the image and printed it out again to be able to reproduce these images time and time again.
